Academic Interests

Professor Camillo conducts interdisciplinary research which encompasses three streams of interest that reflect his publications and presentations:

  • Service and Production Management: Issues in strategy, marketing, and technology in the field of hospitality and tourism and wine business, business development, and entrepreneurship. 
  • Strategy and Business Policy: Critical issues in competitive advantage, innovation, strategy, and entrepreneurship, in relationship to firms’ operation, marketing management practices, managerial communication, corporate social responsibility, and enterprise risk management.
  • International Management: Organizational Behavior, Ethics, Global Human Resources, Global Strategic Management.
  • Geographical Areas: All continents with emphasis on Europe, Asia, North America.

He is the Founding Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Tourism and Hospitality Management in the Digital Age (IJTHMDA).

About

Dr. Angelo A. Camillo is Assistant Professor of Management and teaches courses in Strategy, Hospitality Management, and Wine Business Supply Chain and Operations. He was Visiting Professor at the University of Molise, Italy, South China Normal University, Guangzhou teaching Entrepreneurship and International Management, and Carl Benz Academy, Peking University Guanghua School of Management, Beijing, China, teaching courses in Wine as Luxury and Investment. He was consultant and instructor at Samsung Culinary Academy at Samsung Everland, South Korea. Currently, he is a faculty member and judge of OIKOS, the International Case Competition on Sustainability in collaboration with the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland. His international industry experience spans over 35 years in 10 countries and four continents and speaks Italian, German and French.
